Finland Grip Games in Pyhtää – strength, community and international sport
For the past three years, Finland Grip Games has brought together some of the strongest athletes in Europe and around the world in Pyhtää. The event has become a strong annual tradition, and the fourth tournament will be held in April 2026.
Athletes from Finland, Ukraine, Latvia, the United States, Estonia, Sweden and Bulgaria have previously taken part, making the event a genuinely international stage for strength sports.

Purpose and the organisers' work
The year-round goal of Finland Grip Games is to bring athletes from different countries together, promote strength sports and encourage a healthy, active lifestyle. Throughout the year, the organisers work extensively and continuously to increase awareness of these sports both in Finland and internationally. The aim is to grow the community, create new opportunities for participants and strengthen the position of strength sports in the wider sports field.
